Pawar too catches IPL fever

Pretoria: Giving a break to his prime ministerial ambitions Sharad Pawar has landed in South Africa to watch some of the IPL matches.

Pawar, who is the former BCCI president, is being accompanied by his politician daughter, Supriya Sule, a Member of Parliament, and his wife, Pratiba.

Pawar on Wednesday visited the Mahatma Gandhi Phoenix Settlement in Durban.

Indian Consul General Harsh Varshan Shringla accompanied Pawar and his entourage.

Pawar will also visit Johannesburg where he will attend some of the IPL matches and hold talks with Cricket South Africa officials.
