Port Elizabeth: A record third wicket partnership (104*) between Jean Paul duminy and Ajinkya Rahane helped Mumbai Indians to post a respectable total of 157 against Bangalore Royal Challengers on Sunday.
This is the highest third wicket partnership in the IPL's season so far. Duminy and Rahane went past Matthew Hayden and MS Dhoni's 100 stand for the third wicket which they posted against Punjab earlier this season.
Rahane (62*) who scored his maiden fifty in the IPL hit four boundaries and a six in his innings.
Duminy's 59 came off 41 balls that was studded with 3 sixes and two fours.
