Kimberely: Dwayne Smith starred with the bat and Rohit Sharma with the ball as Hyderabad Deccan Chargers thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 53 runs in the Indian Premier League at the De Beers Diamond Oval in Kimberley.
Electing to bat first, Deccan chargers posted 166-7 in their twenty overs, thanks to Dyane's Smith's superb knock of 47 (32). Andrew Symonds made 30 in 18 in balls.
Chasing a difficult 167 for a win, Rajasthan were outplayed in all departments and were bundled out for 113. The only resistance of Rajasthan came from Swapnil Asnodkar who scored 39-ball 44.
Rohit Sharma took 3-12 in three overs, while veteran Lankan pacer Chaminda Vaas bowled accurately on a good length to claim 2-19 in four.

Adding to Rajasthan Royal's woes their inspirational captain Warne has been ruled out for about 10 days after damaging his hamstring in the match.
"I'm really disappointed with our performance tonight," Warne said.
"Credit to Dwayne Smith for the way he batted, but our intensity was just not there today for some reason, I don't know why. We were just outplayed. We didn't do the things we were meant to do. But I know we will bounce back."
