London:Controversial Aussie all-rounder Andrew Symonds will be sent home from the World Twenty20 Tournament in England for breaching Australian team rules.
Symonds is reported to have broken the management's guidelines relating to alcohol.
The 34-year-old has had a chequered career and has not played a Test for Australia since Boxing Day last year against South Africa in Melbourne following a season of injury, poor form and off-field personal problems.
The incident is the latest in a list of off-field misdemeanours involving the Queensland player.
In January, he was fined by Cricket Australia over a remark he made in a radio interview and he has a history of drinking related problems, stretching back to 2005.

In 2007 August, Symonds was sent home from a tour of Bangladesh after he opted to go fishing rather than attend a team meeting.
Symonds had already been left out of Australia's 16-man Ashes squad.
