London: Kamran Akmal top scored with a 41 as Pakistan scored a huge total of 175/5 against the Netherlands in the Twenty20 World Cup at Lord's.

Pakistan need to restrict Netherlands to 150 to get into super eight round of T20 world cup.

Akmal scored a stroke-full 41 off just 30 balls. Akmal, in company with former captain Shoaib Malik, build a solid platform for the Pakistanis as the big-hitters in their ranks could easily utilise the foundation and help Pak post a big total.

Pakistan lost their first wicket in the form of Salman Butt for 18. Butt who was playing well suddenly tried to hit R ten Doeschate uppishly through the cover P Borren took an excellent catch to return the Pakistani opener. Pakistan have won the toss and elected to bat first in a do-or-die match against The Netherlands here at Lord"s on Tuesday.
