Trent Bridge: Finally truth has come out! Virender Sehwag himself candidly admitted that he was injured while playing in the IPL and was not fit to play the T20 world cup.
The Indian opener said he suffered injured while playing with Deccan Chargers in the semi-final of the IPL 2.
"I was hurt while trying to stop the ball diving."
"I am not sure what will happen next, I will now see a specialist," said the Delhi player.
Sehwag concealed this injury problems from his captain Dhoni thinking that he would recover from injury and could play world cup at England.
This breach of trust from his own deputy in the team made captain Dhoni upset and that ultimately resulted in the war with the media.
