London: Pakistan spinners restricted Sri Lanka to 150/7 in their allotted twenty overs at London on Friday.

Electing to bat first, Sri Lanka were off to a great start as they scored 80 runs in first eight overs.

Lankan openers plundered 18 runs in the first over which was bowled by Sohail Tanvir.

Jayasuriya was the first wicket to fall as he was dismissed for a quick 26.

Thilakaratne Dilshan top scored the Lankan innings with a superb 46 which was studded with eight fours.

After Dilshan's departure, Pakistan spinners tightened the grip on Sri Lankan batsmen and wickets fell on regular intervals. Lanka suffered a mid order collapse and they never recovered from it.

Afridi, Ajmal and Umar Gul shared two wickets each.
