Trent Bridge: Brilliant knocks by Jayawardene and Dilshan helped Sri Lanka to post a respectable total of 158/5 against New Zealand at Trent Bridge on Tuesday.

Tilakaratne Dilshan continued his terrific form in the World Cup as he scored 48 off 37 balls which consisted of five fours.

Mahela Jayawardene late cameo (41 off 29 balls)  steered the Lankans out of a possible middle-order collapse. Jayawardene hit 6 boundaries and one sixer in his innings.

Winning the toss and electing to bat Sri Lanka were off to a shocking start as they lost veteran Jayausriya for duck.

Chamara Silva continued his poor form with the bat and was dismissed by Kyle Mills for 11.
