Bangalore: Indian cricketers are now much disturbed by the news coming out from Air India. Skipper Dhoni"s salary will be delayed by one month as he is employed with Air India. The list also includes VVS Laxman, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, S. Sreesanth and R.P. Singh.
Isn't there a limit for greed of Indian Cricketers ?
Why Indian cricketers are pampered and paid so much by corporates even after the humiliating exit from T20 world cup?
Pay cut for Dhoni!
The revenue these bunch of players earn from modelling and ads itself will make them crorepatis, then why should these players get all the money for doing nothing.
Meanwhile nobody is bothered Players like Saina Nehwal who are setting a mark in badminton at the international level.
Saina Nehwal made India history on Sunday, becoming the first Indian women to win a Super Series tournament after clinching the Indonesian Open after thrashing higher-ranked Chinese Lin Wang in Jakarta. Its a big achievement than any India cricket team has done recently.
But, Saina was not treated in the same way as cricketers. She was given only Rs 2 lakh for her stupendous achievement. Isn't its appalling considering that an India cricketer can earn more than this amount by bringing water bottle & towel for their team mates in the field and without playing even a single match.
Even if cricketers are kicked out from the cricket team as they would have earned 10 times more in modelling contracts. When poor Indian soldiers are struggling with a low salary, why should these players get all the money for doing nothing?
Sports persons like Saina Nehwal and families of poor Indian jawans need all the support from PSU Banks and Air India, not cricketers.
Cricketers are anyway rich, why should the banks and Air India be employing these 'anti nationals' who are not even bothered to respect the Padma awards.
Its high time for Air India and PSU banks to throw out these cricketers from jobs and save money indirectly for the nation.
PCB should coach BCCI men
There are lots of talented sports person in India lacking resources for fundamental living and basic training facilities. Government and corporates should promote these sport-persons and bring them to the limelight of the country...not our 'great' cricketers who earn crores of money and prove disaster when it comes to performance!
