Mumbai: Cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar said that Indian captain MS Dhoni changed his batting style in order to sustain himself in international cricket.
Gavaskar was delivering the first Dilip Sardesai Memorial Lecture at Mumbai on Thursday. In his speech Gavaskar noted that Dhoni's transition as a batsman was nothing to be concerned about.
Dhoni wary of pace threat
Suni Gavaskar, who served as the former chairman of ICC, opined that Test cricket remained the the pinnacle of the sport but didn't offer any comment on the ICC's effort to shorten the Test game to four days.
