England bat first at Lords

London: England have won the toss and elected to bat against Australia in the second start at Lords on Thursday.

England have handed an Ashes debut to Graham Onions while Cardiff batting saviour Monty Panesar missing out at his expense.  Andrew Flintoff has been passed fit and he will play in the Lords Test.

Australia have kept faith with the same side which came within one-wicket of drawing first blood in Cardiff.

England have not beaten Australia in Lords since 1934.
