Banglore: India"s explosive opener Virendra Sehwag"s right shoulder is showing encouraging signs. Sehwag was at the National Cricket Academy on Wednesday for a regular review of his injury with the physio Paul Close.
Though Viru kept silent on the status of the injury, it was learnt that he is recovering well and his recovery is on the expected lines. He is scheduled to be back at the NCA in four weeks time for another review of the injury.
Sehwag undergoes surgery on shoulder
The opener had picked up the injury during the semi-final match of the IPL-2. The Grade-I injury had later worsened and had to be operated upon, as a result of which Sehwag had to miss the ICC World Twenty20 tournament.
