In his book Buchanan has  said that "Yuvraj would just walk off after training, leaving all his gears and rubbish because he was used to someone else picking up after him", Reacting to his Yuvraj said  "I must have told Buchanan to carry my stuff after a Knight Riders game in the IPL and that is why he wrote all those things about me in his book."

Buchanan had also said that Yuvraj tries to imitate former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly but lacks dignity.

On this Yuvraj told "Ganguly is a great cricketer and we all admire him for what he has done for Indian cricket and himself. He is different from me and there is no point comparing him with me. Buchanan's comment does not make sense."
