New Delhi: The team management of Kolkata Knight Riders will meet on Tuesday to elect the new captain and new coach for the third season of Indian Premier League.
Contrary to reports which floated around last week about Sourav Ganguly being named captain of Kolkata Knight Riders for third season of the Indian Premier League, KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan said that no decision has been made with regards to the new captain and coach of the team.
"We will be meeting on August 4 and that's when all decisions on coach, captaincy and hopefully a formula for winning at least some of the matches next year would be worked out," Shah Rukh told a press conference in New Delhi.

"Nothing has been decided, neither the coach nor the other things I read about in papers. The whole team would be meeting for the first time post IPL on August 4 and it's a series of meetings will August 15," the Bollywood star added.
Brendon McCullum, who led the side in the second season of IPL, expressed his unavailability for the third edition as IPL three clashes with Australia's tour to New Zealand. Sourav Ganguly, who was stripped off the captaincy in South Africa is the front runner to take over from the Kiwi skipper.
KKR, which finished bottom of the table this season, sacked coach John Buchanan after the debacle and former India coach John Wright is tipped to fill in the post vacated by the Australian.
