Colombo: Mohammad Aamer and Naved-ul-Hasan shared eight wickets as Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 132 runs in fifth and final ODI match at Colombo.
Batting first Pakistan posted a healthy total of 279-8, thanks principally to skipper Younus Khan (76) and Misbah-ul-Haq (73 not out).
And the game was effectively ended as a contest once Sri Lanka slipped from 54-2 to 69-6.
Pakistan, who were defeated 2-0 in the preceding Test series, still lost the one-dayers 3-2.
"We won the two day-night games, but lost the first three day matches. Maybe we do not like to wake up early," said Younus.
The two teams, finalists at the World Twenty20 in England in June, will play a T20 international here on Wednesday.
