Chennai: The ex-Indian Test team captain Rahul Dravid has made a comeback to the ODI team after a gap of two years. BCCI selection committee has included Dravid in the 15-member squad for both the ODI tri-series in Sri Lanka and the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa.
Tendulkar who missed West Indies tour in June-July, is back to the squad along with Suresh Raina. An injury had kept Raina away from the West Indies ODI series.
As expected Virender Sehwag has not been picked for the squad as the selectors want to give some rest after his shoulder injury. India's leading pacer Zaheer Khan also was ruled out as he is also resting after a shoulder injury.
In the absence of Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma and Asish Nehra would be leading the Indian pace attack in South Africa.

Abhishek Nair has been included in the squad following his impressive performance in the IPL and domestic circuit. Dinesh Karthick aslo got the Indian cap as the second choice wicket keeper in the tournament.
Selectors recalled Dravid to strengthen Indian middle order whose weakness against short-pitched deliveries were exposed in the World Twenty20 in England and the one-day series in the West Indies. Dravid last played an ODI for India way back in the October of 2007 against Australia where he managed just 51 runs from 5 innings.
The selected players will have a four-day training camp at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore from August 27.
