New Delhi: Sehwag lead players revolt in Delhi Renji Team ended after a week on Monday, with DDCA chief Arun Jaitley assuring Virender Sehwag of fairness in team selection.
According to reports Virender Sehwag met Delhi District Cricket Association President Arun Jaitley on Sunday and the differences seem to have been solved.
Jaitley assured Sehwag that there will be fair and performance-based selection and the role of the dubious sports committee will also be reviewed.
Delhi Ranji captain Virender Sehwag had earlier threatened to quit the team in protest against the selection procedures followed by the DDCA.
Sehwag also received the support from senior players in the team like Gautam Gamhir and Ashis Nehra on this issue. These players have earlier boycotted the Delhi team's Ranji conditioning camp held at Feroze Shah Kotla.
Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir was spotted at the Feroze Shah Kotla on Monday morning.
It is believed that Sehwag has spoken to his team-mates, including Gambhir and Ashish Nehra, and it's after assurance from the skipper that they came back.
