'Salman has no plans to buy IPL team'

Mumbai: Bollywood super star Salman Khan won't enter into IPL business , said his brother Sohail Khan. Earlier, there were reports that Salman Khan expressed interest to buy an IPL team in the 2010 season.

The report was substantiated by IPL chief Modi and said that Salman Khan met him on Wednesday to know about the feasibility of buying an IPL team.

Sohail Khan confirmed that Salman is not going to buy any IPL team. "It's not true. Salman is not buying any IPL team. On Thursday, when he was shooting for Dus Ka Dum I called up him and asked him whether it was true and he denied it."

The IPL is set to introduce two new teams in the 2011 season and the franchise may “cost over $200-300 million".

At present, Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla (Kolkata Knight Riders), Preity Zinta (King''s XI Punjab) and Shilpa Shetty (Rajasthan Royals) are the bollywood stars associated with the high-profile Twenty20 cricket tournament.
