Bangalore: Yuvraj Sing lead Air India Red reached the finals of Sahara BCCI Corporate Cup as they beat ONGC by five wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Saturday.
Set a victory target of 214 runs, Air India achieved the target with a full 10 overs remaining, with
Shushant Marathe hitting 80 of 106 balls with eight fours. He put on 94 runs for the second wicket with Robin Uthappa, who made a 49-ball 45 studded with seven boundaries.
Marathe shared 67-run unbeaten sixth wicket partnership with Ankeet Chavan (41 not out).
Earlier, ONGC, captained by Gautam Gambhir, were all out for 213 in 48 overs. Gambhir made 63 (75 balls) with four boundaries, while Virat Kohli hit 46 (57 balls) with four hits to the fence and one six.Tanmay Srivastava chipped in with 29.
For Air India Red, Dhawal Kulkarni was the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets for 40 rns, while Saurabh Netravalkar and Moondeep Mangela scalped two each.
