Sachin tsunami sinks SL with 46-run win

Colombo: Sachin Tendulkar (138) 44th ODI hundred guide India to a comfortable 46-run victory over host Sri Lanka in Colombo on Monday.

Chasing a target of 320 runs set by India, the hosts were dismissed with 273 runs on the board.

While the champion batsman anchored the innings brilliantly, captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (56), Yuvraj Singh (56 not out) and Rahul Dravid (39) were the other notable scorers for the Indians.

Earlier, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar scored his 44th century and late heroics from Yuvraj Singh (56) took India to 319-5 in their 50 overs.

Tendulkar played a knock of 138 runs which inluded 10 fours and 1 towering six. This was his 4th ton at Colombo's Premadasa Ground while 5th in the finals of any tournament.
