Kingston: Usain Bolt, the fastest man on earth, might have been a premier fast bowler had things worked out differently for him.
Growing up, Bolt was keen on becoming a cricketer and spend most of his time playing the sport until things changed early in his teenage years.
"When I was growing up it was all about cricket," the triple Olympic and world champion sprinter told reporters after his arrival back from the World Athletics final in Greece.
"I was so much into cricket and I thought that I would end up in cricket. I did not take track and field seriously until I was 16."
