New Zealand bowl first against England

Johannesburg: New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori won the toss and elected to bowl against England at Johannesburg on Tuesday.

England have replaced Graham Onions with Ryan Sidebottom.

It is a do or die match for New Zealand. A win today and they are assured of a berth in the semi-final at the expense of Sri Lanka, while England are through irrespective of today's result.

Ryder is ruled out of the New Zealand team due to a groin injury. Hopkins replaces Ryder, and Butler comes in place of Tuffey in the Kiwis team.
