Centurion: After their elimination by Australia in the Champions Trophy, England captain Andrew Strauss predicts Aussies clinching their second successive Champions Trophy title on Monday.
Australia will take on New Zealand on the Champions Trophy finals to be played on Saturday.
Strauss said given the destructive form of the Aussies, it is hard to see any other team clinching the title.
"It's hard to look past Australia, it's hard to beat them. They are the defending champions. There's lot of variety in their bowling," Strauss said after Friday night's loss.
"We still are not among the top two teams of the world," he added. Reflecting on the defeat, Strauss said losing half of the side before 100 runs proved devastating.
Strauss admitted that Australia were too good for them. "When you lose six wickets for 100 runs, it is hard to stand in the game. We needed three-four early wickets, but didn't get. Watson and Ponting played magnificently. We have played some good cricket but Australia was too strong today," Strauss said.
