Stage set for CLT20 opener

Bangalore: Stage is all set for the shortest version of cricket as Champions League Twenty20 (CLt20) tournament is beginning from October 8.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Cape Cobras in the opening match of Champions League T20.

The Cape Cobras won their second Champions League warm-up game outside Bangalore on Tuesday by five wickets but their batsmen appeared to battle against local spinners.

Royal Challengers skipper Anil Kumble stated that his team would take advantage of home support during the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) tournament.

As many as 12 world class teams are participating in the mega event. With the festival season, Indians are now geared up to celebrate the Diwali with T20 cricket.

T20 Champions League Fixture

Several star players of world cricket are featuring in the first edition of BCCI's Champions League T20.

The ESPN-Star has the telecast rights of all matches. The matches will be start in the evening from 16.00 and 20.00 IST. The final of the Champions League T20 will be held on October 23.
