Mumbai: In a shocking move, Indian cricket board has sacked bowling Coach Venkatesh Prasad and Fielding Coach Robin Singh.
Of late, India's bowling and fielding were far from satisfactory during the recently oncluded Champions Trophy.
Prasad had represented India in 33 test matches and 161 ODIs, and was appointed to the post of bowling coach in May 2007. A post he has held since. Robin Singh, also a veteran of 136 ODIs, took over as the fielding coach at the same time as Prasad.
Prasad and Robin Singh were appointed as the bowling and fielding coaches in May 2007.
Reasons for their dismissal are not yet known.
