Chasing a target of 126 runs in 17 overs, Henry David's impressive 69 from 54 balls helped cobras to achieve the target and win by eight wickets.
Earlier Victoria won the toss and elected to bat, the Cobras showed no sign of being put off by the situation. Monde Zondeki struck with the first and third deliveries of the match, and with Rory Kleinveldt reducing the Bushrangers to 27 for three in the fourth over, the Cobras found themselves on top.
Victoria could never recover from the bad start.
Useful contributions from Andrew McDonald (29), Cameron White (24) and Aiden Blizzard (22) helped Victoria reach a decent 125 for five.
However, Cobras were off to a flier as Derek Brand (29 off 15 balls) clobbered five fours and a six in the first four overs to lay the foundation for the chase.
Davids and Brand added 30 runs for the second wicket before the latter was run out.
Davids, who hit seven fours and two sixes, and Jean Paul Duminy (18) then took Cobras to the target.
