Lee, Johnson, Hopes ruled out of 2nd ODI

Nagpur: Australia will be tested in the second ODI against India in Nagpur on Wednesday with Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson ruled out of the game.

All-rounder James Hopes has already been ruled out of the match after he strained his hamstring during the first match in Vadodara on Sunday. Mitchell Johnson also left the field for a while after twisting his ankle and Lee has a sore elbow.

Lee developed a mild right elbow strain after bowling just six overs in the first game while Mitchell Johnson strained his left ankle.

Australia had already lost key players Michael Clarke, Brad Haddin and Nathan Bracken to injuries at the start of the series.

New South Wales all-rounder Moises Henriques will join the Australian squad as a standby player and cover for Hopes who is unlikely to be fit till the third one-dayer in Delhi.
