Colombo: Thilina Kandamby and Kaushal Silva in their Test squad for the forthcoming tour of India as the national cricket selectors yesterday called up two uncapped players.
The tour starts with a three-day practice match between the tourists and India's cricket board president's XI on November 11, followed by three Tests, five One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20s.
Selectors have included six batsmen, four seam bowlers and three spinners in Test squad.
Muralitharan will serve as deputy to Kumar Sangakkara. Veteran Sanath Jayasuriya is part of both the ODI and Twenty20 squads.
In addition the national selectors also named all rounders Chinthaka Jayasinghe and Muthumudalige Pushpakumara in their Twenty20 squad.
Opener Malinda Warnapura and middle order batsman Chamara Kapugedera have been left out of the squad.
