Mumbai: Thumps up for Indian cricket fans. Indian public is no longer wants to watch just T20 cricket and they are also supporting traditional ODI cricket. It means, ODI's are here to stay no matter what anyone says or thinks.
TV ratings indicate that more people are watching the ongoing India-Australia ODI series than recently concluded Champions League T20 which was held in India.

The ongoing India-Oz series has registered TV rating points of 1.5 and 2.4 respectively, on Neo Cricket and 1.6 and 2.3, respectively, on Doordarshan, as per overnight ratings agency aMap. The evidence available so far suggest that TRP figures of recently concluded Champions Leauge T20 is marginally lower than the first two matches that the Indian team played in ICC T20 World Cup as well as ICC Champions Trophy.
These ratings indicate that the promise of a good contest, be it in a T20 or a 50-over format, will bring in viewers. The figures, particularly those of Champions League, may also hint at a slight waning of interest in the T20 game. After all, the average TRPs of IPL-2, were lower than those of the inaugural IPL (4.17 compared to 4.81).
