Kanpur: Sachin Tendulkar's suggestion to revive Test cricket's popularity found a taker in the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) which has decided to to give an opportunity to 100 orphaned children to watch the India-Sri Lanka Test cricket match here on November 24 free of cost.
"The UPCA liked the suggestion put forth by Tendulkar and therefore we are ready to give free tickets to kids. ," UPCA Director Jyoti Bajpai said.

Tendulkar, during a recent function in Mumbai, made the suggestion to keep fan interest in the longer version of the game alive.
UPCA will also distribute snacks to these children from Muslim orphanage and Hindu orphanage, apart from providing pick and drop facility to them for the Test match starting on November 24 at Green Park stadium here.
Around 50 children from Muslim orphanage will watch the Test match on the first day and 50 children from Hindu orphanage will come to watch on the second day, Vajpayee said.
In case more children from the orphanages would like to watch the match, the association will consider the matter sympathetically, Vajpayee said.
