Rohan  becomes a Kolkata Knight Rider

Kolkata: Former ICL reblel Rohan Gavaskar is all set to join the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the coming edition of the Indian Premier League.

Rohan, the son of legendary Indian cricketer Sunny Gavaskar, is the fourth ICL rebel to sign for the Kolkata Knight Riders after they roped in Tamil Nadu all-rounder Ganapathy Vignesh, Madhya Pradesh middle-order batsman Syed Abbas Ali (grandson of the legendary Mushtaq Ali) and Bengal left-arm medium pacer Syed Eklakh Ahmed.

Knight Riders captain Sourav Ganguly confirmed this as the team started its two-day conditioning camp at the Eden Gardens on Monday. “Yes, we have roped in Rohan," Ganguly said.

Gavaskar batted for some time facing the bowling machine, as the KKR players started their preparation for the third edition of the IPL.
