Kolkata: Shah Rukh Khan is not all bothered by Kolkata Knight Riders' poor show in the first two editions of the Indian Premier League. Bollywood superstar is in constant with the team and he feels that his team will make a strong comeback under the new coach in the IPL's third season.
"Shar Rukh is in constant touch with us.There have been regular inputs from Shah Rukh," the side's new Australian coach Dav Whatmore told media persons after a two-day camp at the Eden Gardens here.
Team members are undergoing a rigrous practice session under the watchful eyes of Whatmore at the conditioning camp in Kolkata
"The camp has been fruitful. I am trying to change the fortunes of the team this season," Whatmore said.
Asked about his interaction with skipper Sourav Ganguly, Whatmore said: "Sourav is a great player. He has made a good contribution to the game."
The next camp will start on January 9.
Whatmore coached the Sri Lankan team which won the world cup in the year 1996.
