Mumbai: Shantakumaran Sreesanth has made a comeback into the Indian ODI team after almost two years. The Kerala pacer has been elected for India's Twenty20 and one-day squads for the series against Sri Lanka starting next week.
Sreesanth, who recently returned to the Test team after a gap of 18 months, took five for 75 in the first innings of the second Test as India defeated Sri Lanka by an innings and 144 runs.
Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh were rested for the two Twenty20 matches while Bengal paceman Ashok Dinda and Tamil Nadu all-rounder R Ashwin were the two new faces Delhi paceman Ashish Nehra also found a place in both the squads.
Selectors have also called up uncapped medium pacer Ashok Dinda, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and medium-pacer Sudeep Tyagi to the one-day team, while dropping all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
Munaf Patel is not included in the ODI squad, while left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha is included in the team. Struggling Ishant Sharma was included in the T20 squad but was omitted from the ODI team.
The one-day team has been selected only for the first two games.
