Sangakkara smashed 17 runs in one over from left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha and 15 more off debutant seamer Ashok Dinda in another.

Sri Lankan captain was ably supported by the big-hitting Chamara Kapugedera (47 in 20 balls) as the fourth wicket duo added 69 runs in 5.3 overs.

In reply, Gautam Gambhir made 55 off 26 deliveries but India suffered mid order collapse and the team finished on 186-9.

Indian fielding was pathetic as they dropped three easy catches and missed an easy run out chance.
