Dubai: Gautam Gambhir of India leads the batting table while his teammate Virender Sehwag moved up a place to be at number four in the ICC rankings for Test batsmen released on Monday.
Sehwag had last week stormed into the top five of the Test batsmen rankings after his spectacular double-century (293) against Sri Lanka in the third Test in Mumbai.
South African Jacques Kallis also made it to the top-10 to become highest-ranked South African batsman after replacing captain Graeme Smith.
In the ICC rankings for Test bowlers headed by South African Dale Steyn, Harbhajan Singh and his India team-mate Zaheer Khan retained their sixth and 10th spots respectively.
Australia's Mitchell Johnson and Sri Lankas Muttiah Muralitharan are in second and third positions respectively.
