Aussies all out for 127 against Pakistan

Sydney: Mohammad Asif picked up 6 wickets while Sami scalped 3 as the duo wrecked havoc to bowl out Australia for a paltry 127. Pakistan were 14 runs for no loss at stumps on day 1.

Mohammed Asif claimed 6-44 – his carrier best bowling, meanwhile, Mohammed Sami took 3 quick wickets and Umar Gul grabbed one wicket. It was Asif's sixth five-wicket haul in just his 16th Test.

Sami dismissed Phillip Hughes, the replacement of injured regular opener Simon Katich, and skipper Ricky Ponting as the hosts reached two for three after electing to bat.

Hussey was the top scorer for Australia with 28 runs.

Australia are leading the series 1-0 after winning the previous match at Melbourne by 170 runs.
