Bangladesh set India 297-run target

Mirpur: Riding on fine half centuries from Tamim Iqbal (60), Imrul Kayes (70) and Mahmudullah(60*), Bangladesh made 296 for six in 50 overs against India in the third match of the Idea Cup at Mirpur on Thursday.


Tamim Iqbal had given the hosts a flying start as he hit ten boundaries and a six in during his cracking knock of 60 from 42 deliveries. Imrul Kayes hit 70 from 100 deliveries.

Later Mahmudullah finished things in grand style with a blazing innings of 60 not out from 45 deliveries.

This is Bangladesh's highest ever ODI total against India, their previous best was 261.

For India Ashish Nehra, Sreesanth, Harbhajan, Yuvraj and Jadeja picked up one wicket each.
