Mirpur: A late collapse saw Bangladesh manage just 249 for nine in their 50 overs against Sri Lanka in the fourth ODI of the Idea Cup.

Imrul Kayes (42), Raqibul Hasan (43) and Shakib Al Hasan (47) all got starts but were unable to dominate after Kumar Sangakkara had won the toss and invited the home team to take first strike.

Bangladesh lost four more wickets in the powerplay for the addition of only 32 runs and only just saw out their full quota off overs.

For Sri Lanka, Nuwan Kulasekara, Suraj Randiv and Thissara Perera claimed two wickets each.
