Bond sold for a whopping $ 750,000


Pollard and Bond were sold for maximum price in this auction. Kemar Roach was bought for 720,000 while Wayne Parnell was picked up for 610,000. Eoin Morgan was the other big buy of the day at 220,000.

Rajasthan Royals brought Damien Martyn for his base price of $100,000.

Daren Ganga, Shakib-Al-Hasan, Doug Bollinger, Sohail Tanvir, Tim Bresnan , Kamran Akmal and Justin Kemp remained unsold

Another big surprice, no takers for for Sarwan.

Bond sold for a whopping $ 750,000

Mumbai: Kiwis pacer  Shane bond went for a whopping USD 750,000 to Kolkata Knight Riders after the second tie-breaker of the auction was announced for a total of two minutes between KKR and DC.

The biggest surprise in the auction was the fact that there were no takers for Pakistan's world cup hero Shahid Afridi, who was considered as one of the hottest property going into the event.

The second highest bid of Group B went to West Indies bowler Kemar Roach for USD 720,000 to Deccan Chargers. The last player of the group, England bowler Eoin Morgan, was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore for USD 220,000.

Former Indian cricketer, Mohammad Kaif, was sadly not picked up by any franchisee.
