Karachi: The Pakistan cricket team returned home late on Saturday after a long and disastrous tour of Australia.
Pakistan"s tour Down Under is being dubbed as their worst ever performance, as they didn"t register a win during the tour.
It lost the Test series 3-0, and suffered a 5-0 whitewash in the one-day series. The Twenty20 world champions also lost the lone T20 match.
The team"s arrival was kept secret. Players were taken out through the Hajj Terminal rather than the usual Jinnah Terminal.
No player spoke to the media upon his return, The News reports.
Meanwhile, all rounder Shoaib Malik has said his teammates must try to improve their skills and learn their lessons from the disappointing Australia tour.
“You always learn from your mistakes and whenever we tour Australia we always learn from here.We have to do some hard work on our batting," Malik told mediapersons before boarding the plane back home.
Pakistan"s next international assignment are two Twenty20 games against England later this month.
