Dubai, Feb 20: England batsmen Eoin Morgan and Kevin Pietersen shared a record fourth wicket partnership to beat Twenty20 world champions Pakistan by seven wickets here on Friday.
Chasing a modest target of 130, Morgan and Pietersen shared an unbeaten 112-run partnership and dragged England from 18 for three to achieve the target with 1.3 overs to spare.
Morgan hammered 67 not out from 51 balls, while Pietersen scored 43 not out as the duo registered England"s biggest ever Twenty20 partnership, The Telegraph reports.

It was Pakistan''s first Twenty20 loss at the Dubai Sports City stadium, where they have already played Australia and New Zealand.
On a pitch that offered a touch of unsettling bounce, the Pakistan batsmen faltered from the start of their innings.
Opening batsmen Imran Nazir was dismissed after scoring two from 15 balls, while at the other end, his partner, Imran Farhat, wasted a promising start.
After the six Powerplay overs, Pakistan had limped along to 25 for 2, their slowest start in any Twenty20 match.
Khalid Latif and Umar Akmal joined the procession as England off-spinner Graeme Swann struck early in his spell.
Shoaib Malik and Fawad Alam did their best to regroup in a 47-run stand for the fifth wicket, the highlight of which was Fawad"s effortless flick off Collingwood to notch up the first six of the match in the 13th over.
Pakistan tried to accelerate in the closing overs, but continued to lose wickets.
