Aussies clinches an unbeaten home series

Sydney: Australia completed an unbeaten home series with an eight-wicket victory over West Indies in the second Twenty20 international.

Openers David Warner (67 from 29 balls) and Shane Watson (62 not out off 33) easily reached their target of 139 in their final Twenty20 international.

Warner started with a bang, hitting three sixes and a boundary off Kemar Roach's opening over.

Earlier, consecutive sixes from Sammy to end the innings helped the West Indies post 138 for seven off their 20 overs in conditions conducive for batting.

The tourists started positively with Chris Gayle and Travis Dowlin taking the attack to opening bowlers Shaun Tait (1-27) and Ryan Harris (2-27).

Australia have been relentless across six Tests, 10 one-day internationals and three Twenty20s against the West Indies and Pakistan in the 2009/10 season - winning them all except for one Test against West Indies, which was a draw, and one ODI against the same nation, which was washed out.

David Warner was adjudged as Man of the Match for his blisterring knock.
