Double blow for Royals as Devils win

Ahmedabad: Virender Sehwag shines as Delhi Daredevils won by six wickets against Rajasthan Royals in the sixth match of IPL third edition here on Monday.

Virender Sehwag hits fastest half-century in the Indian Premier League as Delhi Daredevils secured their second win on the row by beating Rajasthan Royals by six wickets at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera.

Its two win in a row for Devils where as two loss in a row of Royals.

Earlier, Abhishek Jhunjhunwala (unbeaten 53) helped Rajasthan Royals post a target of 142, losing six wickets, against Delhi Daredevils.

Pathan was out for a duck as Rajasthan could only manage 141 before Sehwag knocked 34-ball 75 to run away with the game.

Delhi took only 17.1 overs to reach their target and the victory puts them on the top of the points table
