Chandigarh, Mar 25: Peeved at Yuvaraj Singh for constantly breaking the rules imposed for his own security, Chandigarh police has sent a written complaint to the Kings XI Punjab management and Indian Premier League (IPL) authorities intimating them of the cricketer's 'intolerable' behaviour.
"Yuvraj had gone out of the hotel late Tuesday night without informing the security in-charge. It could lead to a major problem. He is breaching the security cover repeatedly," HS Doon, superintendent of police (security), Chandigarh is quoted as saying in a news agency report.
"Forces have been deployed 24 hours for their (cricketers) security and such things are intolerable," he added.
"Besides informing his team franchisee on Wednesday, we also apprised the IPL officials in Mumbai about the issue. We have told them to take appropriate action to curb such incidents." Doon informed.
This move by the police came after Yuvi slipped out of hotel Mountview in Sector 10 here without informing the security officer.
This is not the first time Yuvi flouted safety norms. Earlier, he along with VRV Singh sneaked out of the hotel without informing the security officials before the match against Delhi Daredevils.
