Mumbai: Maestro batsmen Sachin Tendulkar came in support for the T20 World cup Indian team, after Dhoni and his men failed to shine in the ongoing T20 World Cup and came up with a dismal performance.
"It happens sometimes that the team does not win despite efforts," said Sachin.
"Team India did their best in the Twenty20 World Cup," said Sachin. He added the team needs for support.
"I'm sure the team will perform in the coming tournaments," added Sachin.

The support came in as Dhoni and his men were highly criticized from all corner. Former players came out hard on India's poor performance saying the team had poor tactics, IPL drama and failure to handle rising deliveries.
Former players said Dhoni went for too much of spin in Barbados track and not made use of fast bowlers in pitches conducive for fast bowlers. Considering the resourses he had Dhoni made less usage of the the resources in hand, former players said.
India lost all its super eight matches against the Aussies, West Indians and the Sri Lankans.
Meanwhile the BCCI is waiting for a report from the team management on India's fiasco in the T20 World Cup before taking "corrective decisions".
Earlier Dhoni had refused to blame the IPL for India's dismal performance and had said the hectic travelling and post-match parties were the cause of such an underated performance.
