Indian Women T20 team makes an exit

St Lucia: The Indian Women's Cricket team crashed out of the T20 World Cup in the semi-finals against Australia on Thursday.

The Indian batting order managed to notch up 119 runs on the board which was comprehensively overhauled by the aussie batting line up winning by 7 wickets with 7 balls in hand.

Despite a poor start, the aussie batsmen Alex Blackwell managed to score 61 of just 49 balls helping the team from down under to post an easy win.While, Pulton contibuted with a score of 30 of just 26 balls polishing off the Indian side who are knocked out of the tournament.

For the Indian side after, after having won the toss Poonam Raut was the highest scorer anchoring the innings for the team scorring 44 of 51 balls.

India's star batswomen Mithali Raj managed to score 16 runs.
