Melbourne, May 15: The Australians are targeting England middle order batsman Kevin Pietersen ahead of its clash against the English side in the T20 final 2010.
Captain Micheal Clarke said that their bowling side are hoping to get Pietersen out early.
Pietersen has played a major role for England with 201 runs at an average of 67, including match-winning fifties in the Super Eights against defending champions Pakistan and South Africa.

After a brief break to London after birth of his son, Pietersen was one of the key factor for the English side against Sri Lanka steering his side to finals scoring a quickfire 46 of just 26 balls on his return match.
“Kevin Pietersen coming back into form plays a huge part," The Herald Sun quoted Clarke, as saying after Australia beat Pakistan by three wickets.
“He (Pietersen) is a wonderful player in all three forms of the game. He"ll be a big part of the final. If we can get him out early it will hold us in good stead," he added.
