Rohit hits a half century

Bulawayo: Rohit Sharma hit a hard earned half century with just one boundary in his innings for India after the tourists struggled to keep up with the run-rate after losing their top order.

India struggled early on with Murali Vijay caught short of his crease for 11 runs. Virat Kholi coming at first down followed him soon and the Dinesh Karthik opening the batting for India scored 22 of 39 ball with 2 boundaries before his innings was cut short by Prosper Utseya.

India were struggling at 61/3 when Karthik fell in the 13th over.

Captain Raina stepped in the crease after his wicket along with Rohit Sharma started a partnership to re-structure the innings. They managed to put India's score to 100 runs in the 25th over.Raina looked good until he was sent back to the pavilion by Mpofu for 37 runs. He hit 2 boundaries in his innings.

The partnership was a rebuilding one and they manage to put together 67 runs for the 5th wicket.

Now, Ravindra Jadeja is playing along side Rohit Sharma and India are placed at a score of 198 for 4 in the 43rd over
