Shahzad gets England Test cap

Old Trafford: Andrew Strauss won the toss for England and chose to bat in a sunny day in Manchester against Bangladesh in the second Test match.

Ajmal Shahzad got a test cap for England. The Yorkshire-based pace bowler will be making his Test debut in place of injured paceman Tim Bresnan, after he was given a chance ahead of the left-armer Ryan Sidebottom.

Now England have a raw attack with Finn who has just played four Test matches till date but his bowling style and hunger to perform well will be well supported by Old Trafford wicket which is one of the quickest wicket in England.

The tourist Bangladesh has made two changes with Shafiul Islam coming in for Robiul Islam and Abdur Razzaq coming back into the side, adding more spin option in the Bangladesh attack.

England: Andrew Strauss (capt), Alastair Cook, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Eoin Morgan, Matt Prior (wk), Ajmal Shahzad, Graeme Swann, James Anderson, Steven Finn.
