Manchester: England clinched the Natwest series by 3-0 lead as they edged Australia by 1 wicket victory margin in the third ODI and to make three win in a row here on Sunday in Manchester.
Opener Andrew Strauss smashed 87 from 120 balls to take England off to a flier, but a brilliant bowling spelled from Australians forced them to lose wickets at regular intervals and in the end England won the match with five balls to spare.

Earlier, a spectacular bowling display by the England bowlers restricted the Australians to a meagre total of 212 as they were bowled out in the 46th Over.
Shane Watson (61 from 76 balls), TD Paine (44 from 48 balls) were the major contributors in the Australian innings.
GP Swann was adjudged as Man of the Match for his brilliant spell of 4/37.
